Cherry Studio Integration

Cherry Studio is a desktop AI client that supports custom OpenAI-compatible providers, so it works with KOPRouter out of the box.

**Prerequisites**
  • Cherry Studio installed
  • A KOPRouter API key (prefixed with sk-)
Go to Settings → Model Services in Cherry Studio and click Add to create a new provider. Choose an OpenAI-compatible provider type and enter:
<span class="field-row"><span class="field-kv">API Base</span><code>https://koprouter.kopglobal.com/v1</code></span>
<span class="field-row"><span class="field-kv">API Key</span>`sk-...`</span>
Save, then click Refresh models — Cherry Studio pulls the available models from `/v1/models` automatically.
Keep the `/v1` suffix on the base URL, or some requests will 404. **Works the same on Windows and macOS**

The steps above are identical on Windows and macOS. If your network cannot reach KOPRouter directly (e.g. mainland China), enter an HTTP proxy address (7890 is an example — use your own proxy port) under Cherry Studio’s “Settings → Network / Proxy” — no environment variables needed; or enable a system proxy (TUN / global mode). See Network & Proxy.
