Token Plan
KOPRouter bills consistently by model and usage. Tokens are the primary billing unit for text models; unit prices and metering rules for each model are described below.
Billing Units
| Unit | Meaning | Use case |
|---|---|---|
| Token | Input/output token count for text models | Chat, completions, embeddings, rerank |
| Image | Number of images | Image generation / editing / variations |
| Character | Synthesized character count | Text to speech |
| Second | Video duration | Video generation |
| Request | Per request | Moderation, transcription, translation |
How Tokens Are Calculated
A chat completion is billed as input tokens times the input price, plus output tokens times the output price:
Cost = input_tokens × input_price + output_tokens × output_price
Input and output token counts are returned in the response’s usage field. All amounts are in micro-dollars (1 USD = 1,000,000) and recorded line by line on the console’s Usage Details page.
Usage Details
The console’s Usage Details page records every request’s model, input/output tokens, unit price, and the actual amount charged, for reconciliation.
